Sometimes people make comments like "all faiths lead to the same god" or "it doesn't matter who you believe in as long as you believe in something"...
Statements like these are wrong. Jesus very clearly said He was the only way, the truth and life and that NO ONE would come to the Father (GOD) except through Him (JESUS). This is the one thing that seperates Christianity from ALL other religions.
We believe that faith in Jesus Christ alone, accepting Him as the Son of God, that He died AND rose again, that He ascended into Heaven and that He is coming back soon are the only things that will save a person from an eternity in Hell. If you want to know more, please ask!
Below is a brief description of our Fundamental Beliefs:
God is bigger and better and closer than we can imagine.
The Bible is God’s perfect guidebook for living.
Jesus is God showing Himself to us.
Through His Holy Spirit, God lives in and through us now.
Nothing in creation “just happened.” God made it all.
Grace is the only way to have a relationship with God.
Faith is the only way to grow in our relationship with God.
God has allowed evil to provide us with a choice: God can bring good even out of evil events; and God promises victory over evil to those who choose Him.
Heaven and hell are real places. Death is a beginning, not the end.
The church is to serve people like Jesus served people.
Jesus is coming again.
